What is Kambo?

Kambo is the defensive secretion of Philomedusa Bicolor, a leaf frog species; this purgative, immunity-boosting medicine is critical for many indigenous cultures in the Amazon.

Kambo can help with the following:

Research conducted since the 1980s has shown the chemical makeup of Kambo to contain short chains of amino acids, known as peptides, that affect gastrointestinal muscles and blood circulation and stimulate the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland in the brain. While there are no clinical studies that definitively back up Kambo’s efficacy, the properties of Kambo peptides suggest it may be a promising treatment for the following conditions::

Rapé is a Sacred Plant Medicine often made of several Amazonian plants; the core of most rapé snuffs is the tobacco species Nicotiana rustica. This Amazonian tobacco, also known as mapacho, is used extensively in tribal rituals and is much stronger than N. tabacum, tobacco found in cigarettes. In addition to tobacco, rapé usually includes the alkaline ashes of other plants such as cinnamon, tonka bean, clover, banana peel, mint, and others.

We may feel many emotions that need to be released; we will utilize the Sacred Medicine of Sananga to help with this release. Sananga is a potent eye medicine that is dropped into each eye to help release blockages in the Emotional body and work deeply with our Sacral Chakra and the waters of our being.

Sananga is a traditional medicine of the Amazonian indigenous groups. Those tribes have been using Sananga and other Amazonian plant medicines for generations. Chris Honan:

Chris Honan is the co-founder of Pachamama Munai—to Love Mother Earth. He became a Student of Life following a near-Death Experience in 2008. He is an I Ching Oracle Consultant, Kambo Practitioner, and Host of Sacred Healing Ceremonies with Plant Medicines. Chris is a father of two, a US Army Veteran, and has completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.
