A Sacred Journey of Connection, Prayer & Ancestral Wisdom

This Vivência is an immersive cultural and spiritual experience held in the heart of the Amazon rainforest with the Huni Kuin people. It is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and remember our connection to the Earth, the elements, and ancestral ways of living.

This journey is not a retreat in the Western sense. It is a lived experience- rooted in humility, reciprocity, prayer, and presence. Participants are welcomed as guests of the forest and the community, guided by Chief Mapu and the wisdom of the Huni Kuin lineage.

Through daily life, ceremony, music, storytelling, and time in nature, we reconnect with what is essential.

🪶 About Chief Mapu Huni Kuin
Mapu Huni Kuin is an esteemed leader of the Huni Kuin people, an Indigenous community rooted deep in the Brazilian Amazon. A powerful voice for ancestral wisdom and ecological preservation, Mapu serves as a cultural ambassador dedicated to safeguarding the spiritual traditions, healing practices, and sacred knowledge of his lineage. Through his leadership, he champions the vital role Indigenous communities play in protecting the Amazon rainforest—one of Earth’s most critical ecosystems.
In addition to his work as a guardian of the forest, Mapu is a globally recognized musician and storyteller. He gained international acclaim for his collaboration on The Future is Ancestral, a Grammy-nominated album produced by Alok—Brazil’s iconic DJ and music producer known for bridging global electronic sounds with social impact. The project artfully weaves Indigenous chants and teachings with contemporary music, amplifying the urgency of spiritual ecology and climate consciousness.
Mapu’s presence also reached Brazilian television audiences through his appearance on a nationally broadcast soap opera, where he introduced millions to Indigenous ways of life and philosophies. Whether on stage, on screen, or in ceremony, Mapu Huni Kuin stands as a luminous bridge between worlds—bringing ancient truths into modern light, and advancing a future where Indigenous leadership and the health of the Amazon are recognized as central to the survival of all life on Earth.
